Living in Miami means UV exposure is not seasonal; it is daily. But that does not mean you have to pause your skincare routine all summer. Some treatments are perfectly safe year-round while others need to wait. Here is your guide.
Safe All Summer in Miami
HydraFacial is completely sun-safe with no photosensitivity. Botox and Dysport have zero UV concerns. Dermal fillers are fine year-round. Microcurrent is non-invasive and sun-safe. IV therapy and vitamin shots are perfect for summer hydration. Endospheres body sculpting is completely safe in the sun.
Proceed with Caution
Microneedling is doable in summer but requires diligent SPF 50 for 2 weeks post-treatment. PRP and PRF injections have mild bruising that sun can darken.
Best Saved for November-February
Chemical peels (especially TCA and VI peels) make skin extremely photosensitive. In Miami, this means waiting for our brief lower-UV window. Fibroblast plasma pen creates tiny crusts that absolutely cannot get sun exposure.

Both are FDA-cleared biostimulators, both build your own collagen, and both are used every week at our Edgewater studio. But they behave differently β and the right choice (often, the right
One of the best things about a non-surgical BBL is how little it disrupts your life β no hospital stay, no weeks on a donut pillow, no sitting bans. But “minimal downtime” does not mean “no aftercare.” What you do in the first days and weeks after your appointment directly affects how smooth, even, and
It is the first question almost everyone asks at a non-surgical BBL consultation: “How long will this actually last?” It is a fair question β nobody wants to invest in their curves and watch them disappear in six months.
