What to Expect Right After Treatment
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, or other changes may occur. Your treating clinician should explain what to expect, what needs assessment, and how to contact them. Do not assume that severe or worsening symptoms are part of normal recovery.
Your Aftercare Timeline
Obtain written instructions covering sitting and pressure, exercise, bathing and swimming, heat exposure, massage, medications, follow-up, and whom to contact about complications. Restrictions and their duration vary.
Massage Instructions Must Be Individualized
Do not begin firm massage based on a general online protocol. Ask your treating clinician whether massage is appropriate for the product and area treated, and follow their specific instructions.
Supporting Your Results
Stay hydrated and eat protein. Your body is literally building new collagen over the coming weeks — give it the raw materials.
Do not arrange lymphatic drainage, device-based treatments, or other procedures over the treated area without clearance from your treating clinician.
Keep weight stable. Large weight swings change glute volume in both directions. If you are on a GLP-1 medication, tell your injector so your plan accounts for it.
Book your follow-up. Attend the follow-up recommended by your treating clinician.
When to Call Us
